LOVE Park Knobbed?

Ok first of all, unlike what most people are saying, only the one side of the ledges up top (the side that runs parallel with 15th street) is knobbed.

3 of the ledges (2 of the longer ones, and the short one on the end) have these knobs which will be slightly harder to remove than the other ones.

The other 2 long ledges have the small ball-type skatestoppers similar to the ones on the high ledge at clothespin which look like they are going to be pretty easy to remove.

The fact they are testing different types of skatestoppers makes me think that this might only be the first of more ledges to be knobbed in the park, but hopefully not.

I took the bus up to NYC last weekend for the Malloof Money cup, and stayed with Ishod where we could run up the room service bill on Nike's infinite budget.

Apparently J-Rog showed up uninvited expecting to get into the contest only to get rejected, and then tried starting a petition to get himself in.

Room service night #1

Each meal came with stupidly small containers of condiments.

The next night Ian and Tom came to take advantage of room service with us.

Saturday night we went and checked out the thrasher afterparty with an open bar where Ishod almost got beat up for peeing in the elevator.

The next day Tom finished 2nd, Ishod 5th, and Cole won.

Our hotel had mirrors everywhere, including the ceiling.

P-Rod took everyone out to some a super nice steakhouse that night after placing 2nd in the contest.
