Ian's Woodward Montage

Frick yeah Bluff!

end of summer

Went over to Mad River to check out the new Skatology video Something Wild, if you havent seen it yet, it is definitely worth checking out
Tom and his parents had a party to celebrate the Berry brother's birthday.
Make a wish!
Grandpa's obnoxiously large fire that was too hot to stand within 30' of
Shod sleep.
A couple of the Real dudes were in town for a couple days to do some last minute filming for their video that should be coming out in the next couple months.
Congrats to Jono on going pro.....
If you look carefully you can see the super complicated water collection system we built to stop the water from dripping all over the landing bump
This board series is pretty hilarious.
Doyle and his boy.
Ishod's new kicks.
Burnt cat.
The lobby of the theater at the Stay Gold Premiere.
Although pretty much everyone had already downloaded the video, it was still pretty sick to see on the big screen (with the exception of Spanky crying). Westgate killed it.
"hide ya kids, hide ya wife, hide ya kids, hide ya wife....."
I never thought id see the day, but Tom somehow managed to get his driver's permit before the age of 21.

Smalls got more tapes, look out for Stop Fakin' 2.

Walt is by far the softest out.
Hopefully will be getting the new iphone in the next week so i should be able to start making video updates since somebody else gave up on that a long time ago.

Photos from last week in NYC with Nike SB

After picking up Ishod in Jerz, we set out to NYC to meet up with the Nike SB dudes who were in town for the week to film/celebrate the release of P-Rod's 4th shoe.
We later arrived in the hotel room where we quickly took advantage of the free room service.
After checking out courthouse/black hubbas and realizing how little there was left to be done, we got in a good session at the CIA ledge, where Ishod backlipped for a mile.
I gained a new appreciation for crazy tricks done on this spot, Stefan kept it mellow with a vertical polejam.
I had never been to this spot before, but it was a perfect 3 up 3 down made of smooth granite. Too bad our fun was short-lived due to park security giving us the boot.
The view from our hotel room.
We got an early start the next day and they had rented a van so we could make the trip out to the famous Rockaway rail. This spot is normally not a bust, but i guess we were unlucky cause we got the boot after only 15 minutes.
We decided to go check out Nathan's (the famous hotdog place where they hold the eating contests) on the way back from Rockaway.
This spot used to have a bigger bump to it but due to recent renovations to the bikepath/sidewalk the small bump wasn't nearly as helpful. Paul managed to get a smith grind before the rained picked up and ended our session.
After getting back to the hotel, we went to check out the P-Rod's hotel room which happened to take up more than half of the entire 5th floor, and was by far the most ballin hotel room i have ever been inside of with a fully stocked library, kitchen, living room, dining room, bedroom and 2 bathrooms as well as a huge outdoor terrace.
Pretty soon we had turned the classy dining room into a boor pong tournament.
Transworld Hallelujah premiere in the living room.
Tyler decided it would be a good idea to burn off the beer he drank, so we hit up the gym on Paul's floor.
Since Time's square was only a couple of blocks away we decided to walk there and on the way saw this guy who would spraypaint these rediculous pictures of the NYC skyline.
Ishod threw down $20 for the picture that took the guy less than 5 minutes, but at the time our minds were totally blown.
Ishod and Theotis in Time's Squre.
We walked to Ziegfeld where i was surprised to find out that they had built a roof over the spot.
The next morning we started the day off at Lennox ledges where Youness filmed a fucked up line going faster than the footage can do justice for.
We checked out this spot in Harlem where lately, dudes have been skating over the wall and into the basketball court. Here Ishod does a kickflip.
On the way to Brooklyn, we passed by Ellis Island.
The famous fish gap, Westgate's ollie up this is fucked.
Fort Greene.
Not long after we got there, both the expedition team and a few people from Cliche coincidentally showed up. Shit was like manny mania.
Room service steak was BOUSS
Skate Mental's packaging is pretty hilarious.
There was a Nike SB demo in Harlem the next day where the World Basketball Festival was taking place. The landing ground in the court was terrible.

I swear, after the first 30 minutes a majority of the people waiting to get autographs were simply just trying to get the free t-shirt.
For dinner we went to some rediculous brazilian restaurant where they bring around endless slabs of different kinds of meat.
Time's Square round 2 on the way home from the restaurant.
Beer pong in P-Rod's room again.
Its hard to see, but room service wheeled out a cart of 60 Blue Moons to the outside deck which cost $700!
Once the sun started to come up, Tufty realized it was probably a good idea to try and catch an hour of sleep on the outside deck before having to go back in to work.
The aftermath
The view of the Empire state building at 6:30 am.
"Drink nyyyuuutttttt"
I woke up to Ishod blasting this iPod dock every morning.
Thursday morning we walked into the lobby and got handed this Agenda for the day.
Ishod got anxious waiting for people to go skate and started to ollie over barriers and get in the way of people on the sidewalks.
Alot more people had flown in for the party at this point.
Check the quartersnacks montage for the fucked up trick Youness is doing at this deceivingly hard to skate angle iron ledge in Brooklyn.
Im not sure what was actually happening when i took this photo, but it looks like Shane is punching Ishod in the face.
At dinner, they surprised Paul with a pair of his shoes that were actually worn and signed by Michael Jordan, he was siked.
The original piece of paper that Nas wrote on in the P-Rod 4 commercial.
The after-party at the Jane Hotel fucking killed it.
The next day we went and checked out the new park on Chelsea Pier.
"I love the noise it makes when i stir up the pasta"
Pre-party dinner on P-Rod's terrace.
When we finally got to the release party, they had the quartersnacks montage looping on huge screens.
Theotis and Cameron chillin downstairs at the party where there was free Tecate and plates of mexican food being passed around.
The walls were covered in huge prints of photos taken throughout the week.
It get crowded real quick as people heard that Gucci would be performing soon
Tufty was ready.
So was Grandpa.

Gucci
He was escorted out of the party after performing by some of the biggest security guards ive ever seen in my life.
We crowded back into the van's and made our way to the after party at the Jane Hotel yet again.
The next morning Youness showed us his new iPad before we had to leave in hopes of beating traffic on the way home.
When we got back to PA later that night we had a welcome home party for Ian, where Jimmy Carlin somehow showed up and did a jump-rope demo.

Rich held down the grill.
